Performance is acceptable but hiccups due to loading happens quite a lot despite being installed on an SSD. High powered sniper rifles able to take down heavies come too late in the campaign, when there are less useful. 50% of the time, if I fast travel to an outpost and try to leave for a mission/task, the outpost gets attacked and I have to turn back to help out which wastes ammo and health. Some towers have helicopters but they can't be fast travelled to. The helicopter is great but can't remember where they are except a few places and the map only shows them if they are next to you. So far, i have gotten a steady 60FPS(with vsync) everywhere, rarely droping below 50FPS at all. or if the game has intense CPU usage, such as crysis, far cry 2, ect. You will only get a bottleneck when your GPU starts puting out 70+FPS. WoW is very non-CPU intensive, upgrading from a single core 2.0GHz to a dual core 3.16Ghz i only gained higher minimum framerate. If you have windowed mode currently, swap to fullscreen, if you are still having issues then just go to single-GPU.īy the way, im sorry to say that the other person is not correct, at 3.5Ghz you will not be getting a bottleneck in a game from 2005!!!! Click to expand.i have this issue also, i would get horrible performance, but when i went into the nvidia control panel, into the profiles and set 'single-gpu mode' in WoW, my framerate jumped up.Īlso i just recently found out, that while in windowed mode SLI does not kick in, but if i go to fullscreen, i get wonderful performance gains in SLI!!!
